November in November

yea for me :) and these pics are chronologically backwards, but I'm over it.
This picture is eternal proof that my husband LOVES me. A. LOT. The fair is expensive..and it lasts only a day, not Brandon's cup of tea. We may have been once since Cole was born, but didn't ride rides. I have good memories of going to the fair with my friends, riding rides into the night. This year I wanted to take Laura(a sure thing) and Hannah (b/c I can't swing that child high enough...she didn't like the rides). So off we went to spend a wad of cash. Laura and I got bands and Cole got money to spend on the money magnets also know as throw something lose your dough kind of fun. Laura loved it, more than I thought she would, unfortunately. After the first ride I was so sick, but she loved it so I couldn't stop, although there were rest times for me. Cole Laura and I did the fun house, we got the girls some icees, cause it was hot. Cole, Hannah and Brandon watched the wild animal show. Laura and Hannah rode a couple of kiddie rides, sounds like enough right..three hours worth. Laura was still on go mode, Cole was on let's go mode. So, Brandon ever so kindly left us at the fair, ran errands and came back to pick us up..told you LOVE (althought this was mostly for Laura, even sweeter) - and cause we spent moolah on the bands. She and I were there for 5 and 1/2 hours. Towards the end she insisted on riding the zipper, by herself, cause I would of defintely tossed my cookies, then some spinny ride that I rode with her and right after that the swings. Then she was done, right after the Haunted House ride. She was sick then, part of the fair, just took her longer to get there than I expected. Oh but we ended it wiith a yummy funnel cake..... dreamy!

Laura called me nine times while Brandon and I were on our date (I left my cell phone in the van) to see if she could face paint. This is what she and Taylor accomplished in the 5 minutes after she got permission. :)

Freezing at the soccer game, she couldn't move!

The kids(probably Hannah) said take a picture of us we're so cute. Yes they are!

October in November

so lame, but these are our journals of sort so bear with me.

We did our annaual trek to the pumpkin patch church and had fun. Liz and Danny joined us and took turns taking pics of each others families.

Picture of Cole scoring his goal, not Sports Illustrated but what can you do?

This is my brother Gary and his fiance Siobhan, they got engaged on her's and Laura bday and asked me to take pics, here's one of them.

Hannah's storybook parade day - the camera battery died, the backup was on the mantel at home :(

I am the activities chair, we planned a fall festival with costumes, game, trunk or treat and chili cook off and dessert bake off.

Cole was the dark knight, not batman one, just dark and a knight, games were a huge hit

Gary and Siobhan came, YEAH! She was going to do face painting but I forgot the paints, I knew something would be forgotten, but I think they had a good time anyway. Siobhan is a graduated artist who can do paintings from a picture and otherwise. Here's her etsy website... I've told her to update it :) http://www.etsy.com/shop/primusart

Laura was Queen Lucy at the cake walk

me announcing that I was the winner of the chili constest, awkward, but proud too, it never occurred to me there was danger in winning :).
I am Queen Susan from Narnia, although I'm sure you weren't wondering

We dressed our trunk up as Narnia, didn't get the best pics, but it turned out better than I expected, not great, but when it got dark it was identifiable.

more October to come, but not much.

Soccer

had a bunch of pics of cole's soccer, just deleted them, must be too late,

more updating..oct

October was a big month for our family. Laura turned 8 and her grandparents who haven't missed a blessing or baptism yet, made the trek East to be with us and we had a great time. Here are some of our doings...Backwards, whatev! Cole's soccer game, we won and Rhoud was very impressed with the team and the coach, we really like our coach too, more on that later.

Susan, the girls and I made it down to the beach and Susan was such a good sport to venture out there with us, but she does have Idaho skin so we set up a shady spot for her.

Laura, Hannah and I made a sandman to represent their Daddy, hard to tell but he's there :).

We visited the stadium and ran (walked mostly) up the stairs, on the end zone, but there were some chicks taking names and kicking butt on those stairs.

Susan and Laura doing the chop and doesn't Rhoud just look like a head football coach? Not a nole fan though.
Rhoud and Brandon were supposed to go out deep sea fishing, but due to weather didn't make it. We hope to bait Rhoud back soon for that trip:).
We miss them, esp. Hannah, out of the blue the other day, Hannah said, mommy, I miss Daddy's mommy and daddy, they're funny! :). Yes, they are!

slowly but surely... Soccer

catching up on the blog...I'm at the beginning of January and it's only the beginning of February. I am going to try to condense though.
The kids are both signed up for soccer. The season started 1/2 way through December and they're doing pretty good. It seems this may not be their calling in life, but it's fun to watch and it wears them out :)

waiting during Cole's game, soccer is not Hannah's favorite thing right now
